An Art Museum in the Clouds
This high-rise residence on the 53rd floor of a Manhattan supertall was thoughtfully renovated to balance world-class art with everyday livability. Interior design by Kelly Behun, the home was conceived as a warm, modern pied-à-terre rather than a formal gallery, integrating museum-quality artworks into a comfortable, functional space with sweeping views of Central Park and the city skyline.
The scope included high-end interior construction, custom millwork, stone and metal detailing, and the seamless coordination of finishes, lighting, and bespoke elements throughout the residence. Careful attention was given to proportions, flow, and materiality to ensure the home feels inviting while supporting a significant art collection. The result is a refined yet livable space that blends craftsmanship, precision, and quiet luxury at the highest level.
